"Why did you choose this career/study programme?"

I had always loved drawing, since I was a little girl. I was drawing most of the time. I didn't like playing with dolls, neither rinding a bycicle ( this explains why I don't know how to use a bycicle correctly)... My mind was shouting "draw!, draw... DRAW!".
Someday, my parents took me to the museum, and I saw for the first time the "Starry night" of Van Gogh... Obviously it was only a print of the painting. And in that moment I knew I had to be a painter, or something like that.
So, when I was five years old, I made me the promise of being a painter in the future.
Later, when the moment of choosing a career came, I thought I could study design, architecture, music maybe... But painting was stuck into my brain, and studying arts was the way of the future, the ilumination!.
That's why I'm here in Plastic Arts, and... The road is always filled with obstacles. Sometimes it seems very easy, but in a second everything turns black.
Last year, during august, I was thinking about leaving the career, and keep learning another things, having more time for me and my personal proyects... But, some people told me that I was making a mistake, that it was only the feeling of stress... And I thought a lot about that decision...
Finally I found that they were right. And know I'm here, writing that this is the best semester of my career.
This is how my career keeps filling my life
I think that in the future I will be making proyects, as selling t-shirts with my own pieces of art printed with silkscreen. But actually, I don't know what the future has for me.
Greetings!

"My autobiography"

Hi everyone!
I got something to tell you.
Once upon a time, there was a beautiful kingdom stalked by a horrible dragon and... Ok, I'm here to tell you my autobiography.
I was named as Romina Valenzuela, one first of July in 1996, when I started to breathe.
And... Five years later I went to a kindergarden called "Las Araucarias". It was near home, so it took only about... Eight minutes I think, to get there. It was a funny walk with my mum. But... Early in the morning, so I was a little sleepy. Maybe dreaming while walking.
Then, when I was seven years old, I came to a religious school. It's name is "Colegio Franciscano Maria Reina", and it was founded by the Tertiary missionary franciscan sisters, that loved Madre Tránsito and Saint Alberto Hurtado.
                                         This woman is Madre Tránsito

I studied there for twelve years, it was my elementary and high school.
I finished my studies there in 2014... And I was really tired. So I took the 2015 as vacations and freedom. Even if actually, it was a horrible year because my mother got ungry with me as I was apparently a slack. But... Wait a minute! I was studying for the PSU, and investigating about careers that I thought as interesting posibilities.
I survived that little war, and signed up to Artes Plásticas in the University of Chile.
Since 2016 I'm studying that career in the Faculty of Arts, the place where I'm writting now. I've learnt a lot here. It's full of surprises.
Talking about my family... I live with my parents, Carmen and Jorge, and my brother Jorge. And Cenizo, my cat :)
To finish this, I have to tell you that basically, I like to paint, playing instruments, listen to music, singing, sleeping...
Well, hope you enjoyed this entry ;) Comment and share please <3
See you!
