In classes we made our own projects basing in the type of silkscreen that we are going to learn how to do. The teacher and his assintant help us a lot to make real good works, they give us ideas about materials, mounting, and in general to develop the principal idea.
We have made only one work since we are in classes because of the feminist strike. This work was about making photo silkscreen. We used printed images that were transfered to the frame using an emulsion that is light-sensitive. So if you covered some areas with a black film, you could set the image as a mold, and then printed it everytime you wanted to!
Now the next work is using a four-color technique, but we are waiting for the fulfilment of the feminist request to restart the classes. I hope it happens soon...
I've really enjoyed this subject, because of the techniques, and the teachers, they are really helpful and committed with their labour. It's been a nice semester :)
