"Share a photograph with us and write about its story"

Hi again!
Today I'm not feeling so creative. My mind is all a white space filled with... Nothing. But, I'm going to apply myself now. Gonna try my best.

Today the teacher is asking us to talk about a picture of which we are owners.
So, I've decided to talk about this painting.
This painting is one that I made my own, some years ago, when I started to paint. I think it was in 2013. But before this, I took a course of oil painting, because I didn't know how to use oil, the materials I needed to use it, etc. In that time I had only made some works for the subject of art in school, with tempera.
Now, let's get to the point.
What about the picture?
This painting is an oil on canvas, it's size is 50x60 cm.
I based it in a character that I always draw (well, not always, but regularly). This one is a fish with big eyes, two ears of a mammal, and a red hair that rocks a lot lml. He has a body full of color, because I wanted to use all the colors of my oil tubes. He also has a black tail, like a cat tail... And at the end of this, there is a key moored, and it has a shape of heart in the center.
The key is the reason he looks so sad, and desperate.
This is the key of his heart, the only one that opens the door of the truth he does not know yet, and that he can't see because he's tail is so dark that he can't see what's there... Perhaps he neither know he has a tail.

And so goes his life, tormenting every second himself...
He's looking for something and he doesn't know what is this thing.

Would he ever notice what is it?

I made this paint without thinking so much, just did it for fun. Now I think it was me at that moment. I was feeling like this fish. I was this fish...

Do you think you look like "The fish"?
